Eurofins Athens Analysis Laboratories are testing laboratories that provide independent, reliable and impartial services in the fields of Food, Water, Cosmetics, Medicine, Nutritional Supplements and Environment, covering the needs of the industry and the general public, contributing to public health and safety.

Our History
The Company’s business engagement started in 1951, providing services in the fields of Public Health and Hygiene.
The Athens Analysis Laboratories were founded in 1988 and were a new and important step in the long family tradition.

Facilities
The microbiological department is located on the ground floor, while the chemical department is located on the 1st floor.
The two sections consist of separate laboratories and premises that are based on the nature of the sample, eg, laboratory of medicines, water, food, but also the activity, eg, area of liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, sterilization, destruction, etc.

Our company provides comprehensive services that may consist of accredited chemical, microbiological and biological controls, sampling as well as studies, in accordance with international standards, national and community legislation, on a variety of samples such as:

The Commission's annual legislative programme
Eurofins Athens Analysis Laboratories are also:
- accredited by the ESYD according to ELOT EN ISO / IEC 17025 with a wide scope of accreditation
- have a License to conduct tests on Medicine, Cosmetics and Nutritional Supplements from EOF, as well as an EU-GMP certificate
- have the approval of the Hellenic Atomic Energy Commission – EEAE for carrying out tests of radioactive substances in water,
- are approved by the Quality Scheme for food – QS certification body for analysis of plant protection substances in fruits & vegetables
- are an approved laboratory by the International Olive Council for olive oil analysis.
- In addition, the company is certified with ISO 9001: 2015 – Quality Management, EN ISO 14001: 2015 – Environmental Quality Systems Management, and ISO 45001: 2018 – Occupational Health and Safety
