Ceramic materials

Ceramic materials are particularly popular in the food sector for domestic or even industrial use, since they offer a special identity to the final product.

The amounts of lead and cadmium released from ceramic objects that come - or are intended to come - into contact with food, are determined by law, depending on their category.

Our laboratories are accredited by the National Accreditation System according to the ELOT EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, as a Testing Laboratory for analyses of ceramic materials (Certificate of Accreditation No. 102) and are fully equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, enabling us to provide reliable services, such as:

  • Migration of Pb & Cd

As from 28.02.2022, our company has been licensed by the G.C.S.L., as the only Experimental Unit in Greece that has been organized and operates according to the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (G.L.P.), to perform residue and pollutant determination studies (analytical part).
